Assassin's Creed 1: is an Action and Adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. This is the first installment of the Assassin's Creed series. The plot is set in a fictional history of real-world events and follows the centuries-old struggle between assassins, who fight for peace with free will, and Templar knights who desire peace through control. The game primarily takes place during the Third Crusade in the Holy Land in 1191, in which the plot revolves around the secret system of assassins, based on the sect of Assassins. The player is, in fact, playing the role of a man in the modern era named Desmond Miles, who allows, through the use of a device called "Animus", to monitor and control the genetic memories of his ancestors in this case. Al-Tair Bin Lahd, a member of the Assassins. Through this device, details of the conflict between two factions are revealed: the Templar Knights and the Assassin Knights.
